Would you like to commemorate a special place in your life? A significant portion of my art practice is capturing a cherished place, home, or business in an orginal artwork.

Whether you'd like a painting for your living or working space, I am happy to create that piece for you.

The Process

All commissions begin with a conversation about your desired piece. For example, you may want a painting of a specific theme or a piece created for a specific location.

  • Initial input meeting
  • I'll create a preliminary sketch
  • Second meeting to review the sketch, discuss size options, and develop a quote.
  • Once all the decisions are made, I'll begin the painting.
  • The painting process typically takes 3-10 onsite visits to complete the piece.

  • Johns Hopkins

    I was commissioned by Johns Hopkins Hospital to paint these four pieces. The process took several months. These pieces are available as prints in my online store, and in the gallery.

  • Ayd Hardware

    This painting was a surprise gift from Mrs. Ayd to Mr. Ayd. Of course, this is hard to pull off when one works on location, but we managed! I visited the site over 8 times to complete the painting.

  • Queen Anne's Courthouse

    A wonderful client over several years hired me to travel around Maryland's Eastern Shore, painting portraits of courthouses. All so distinct! This was to me the most beaufiful
